Harry Potter

Harry Potter is really good, as well as twilight. Most people do not read the series because of the way JK starts the books. Does anyone think she needs to start them differently?

The New Beginning...

Here is the first part....
1.
School?!?!
Was sitting in my bed, tired and restless. The noise of Aya screaming at her brother while she packed was the only thing that was keeping me awake. You see Aya and I had met when I first moved in because she lived next door. Our friendship took off from there, and we were now going to have our 2nd sleepover.
“I’m here!” stated Aya walking in to my room.
“Great. What are we going to do?” I asked, suddenly fully awake.
“Oh… I don’t know how about we go to sleep?” replied Aya yawning.
I nodded and smiled at her, everything went black.

My phone suddenly started ringing out of no where, who called at this time of night? When I finally got over to my phone it was a text message from Ashley.
Look on your palm, if you have an X in the corner…
I rolled my eyes, and checked. Apparently there was an X I had never noticed before.
I have and X what now? I texted back.
Oh… I didn’t think this would happen but you have a power and we need to go to wizard school.
“WHAT?” I scream/whispered out loud.
I thought about this for a moment, a wizard school? Could it really be that bad?
“Time to pack my bags.” I muttered under my breath.
I packed my bags and walked downstairs to my mom…
“You’re going away?” she asked wiping a tear away.
“I well yes.” I answered sadly.
When Ashley and I finally got to the wizard school she had to tell me something…
“You will never see Aya again… or anyone else for that matter.” She whispered.
“I WILL NEVER EVER LISTEN TO YOU AGAIN!” I screamed.

I woke up in a cold sweat, and I think I screamed because Aya was staring at me like I was an idiot.
“You. Screamed.” She murmured shocked.
“I’m sorry. It was a bad dream.” I told her sadly.
“Whatever. It’s breakfast time.” She nodded towards the clock on the wall.
Aya was right, it was really late. I had never ever woken up early again after I was adopted from the orphanage. The air had shocked me when I walked outside. I was free, well I still wasn’t exactly free today but it was a big step to my goal.
“Pancakes?” I asked uncertainly when I got downstairs.
“Of course…” My mom answered smiling at me.
“I love your pancakes!” squealed Aya, eating all five in almost one bite.
“I know both of you do!” my mom declared happily.
Aya couldn’t reply because we were both gobbling and shoving pancakes down our throats.
“Aren’t you two going to the beach?” asked my mom.
Aya stared at me and I motioned for her to get our swimsuits.
I waited five minuets, staring at the clock.
“HERE!” hollered Aya, throwing me my bikini.
My mom snatched the pancakes away before the bikini could land in the pancakes.
“Nice one!” commented Aya.
My mom just nodded and pointed towards the door, handing me my swimsuit.
“Bye!” I told her walking out the door.

“Are you ready?” asked Ashley, her swimsuit skirt fluttering in the soft wind.
“Yes.” I replied staring at Aya.
“On my count 123 GO!” shouted Ashley, both of us storming towards Aya.
“AHHHHHHHHHH!” screamed Aya, Ashley knocking her in to the water. Aya was sitting on the ocean floor laughing her head off.
“What?!?!” asked Ashley staring at Aya and raising one eyebrow.
“She does that.” I replied simply.
Ashley nodded, giving Aya a hand to get back up.
“Are you okay?” asked Ashley.
“I’m bummed. School is tomorrow!” groaned Aya, wiping the sand off of her swimsuit.
“OH PLEASE! Forget about that and come ON!” I groaned.
Aya and Ashley smiled at each other and started to chase me.

“SIT DOWN!” ordered the teacher.
“What if I don’t want to?” demanded Aya furiously.
The teacher growled under her breath and Aya sat down as quick as she could.
“Apparently we have a stubborn student this year.” Declared the Teacher staring at Aya.
I sighed; Aya was straining not to punch the teacher in the gut. (Or any other place you DO NOT want to be punched)
“Anyhow we must continue our day, so please work on your name tags.” Finished the teacher.
Everyone in the class nodded and got out their supplies.
I sighed and started working on coloring my name tag, until I saw someone in front of me.
“What’s your name? I whispered, tapping his back.
He turned around and smiled at me, “Brian.” He replied.
I smiled at him sweetly.
The bell rang furiously declaring recess, right when Brian left a girl walked over to me.
“Hi I’m Ava! Oh and Brian? He’s mine.” She growled furiously.
“Whatever.” I replied.
She glared at me for five seconds and then headed the other way, exploding in to rage.
I giggled under my breath, waiting for Aya to show up.
“What was that all about?” asked an unfamiliar voice behind me.
I jerked my head the other way, a girl was there with blonde hair and a blue skirt as well as shirt.
“She was sassing me because I talked to Brian.” I replied.
“Oh Ava. Well I guess we should get used to that.” Sighed the girl.
“My name is Rose.” I told her.
“My name is Amara.” She answered smiling at me.
I nodded and looked at her for a couple of seconds.
The bell for recess rang suddenly, and then I saw where Aya was. Aya was hanging out with boys. Typical.
“NOW WE ARE GOING TO NAME ALL OF THE GIRLS, THEN BOYS!” boomed the teacher.
Everyone nodded in reply and she started, “Aya, Ava, Amara, Amelia, Rosalie, Emma, Zafrina, Alice, Diane, now boys, Brian, Ryan, Aro, Ed, Even, Wyatt,”
Everyone looked around the room in confusion, looking for me, the new girl.
“Rosalie here is new.” The teacher informed everyone, pointing at me.
I groaned and laid my faced in to my arms, this was going to be a long day.

I walked home that day, mother called me on my cell phone informing me that she was cooking something special and that I better be home soon before dad eats all of it.
“HEY! ROSALIE!” called Amara a couple yards back, I turned around and sighed.
“I HAVE TO GO!” I yelled, and then I started running towards my home.
When I finally got home my mom was waiting for me, smiling when I entered.
“Good afternoon mom.” I told her smiling.
“Dad.” I said when I passed him.
After being adopted I had the most beautiful room I could imagine, it had a pink cover for the bed and the window had the best view. None of it reminded me of my real mom or dad or anything like that at all. I kind of missed Ray but my new friends completed my life more than I could imagine. How could I ask for more? I couldn’t.
“Rosie do you want dinner?” asked my mom knocking on the door.
“Sure.” I replied.
She smiled at me and nodded, walking downstairs to finish the wonderful meal she was preparing.
My phone suddenly rang, it was Ashley.
“Hello?” I asked.
“There’s a problem.” Breathed Ashley.
“What?” I asked.
“It’s, there, their coming.” Answered Ashley.
“Who?” I asked alarmed now.
“The people that want to use people like me to rule the world!” replied very alarmed Ashley.
“You mean for evil?” I asked.
“Yes!” answered Ashley.
“I have to go.” I told her slamming the phone shut.
What was she talking about? Was the whole entire world going to end? It couldn’t end!
You know what, maybe I shouldn’t believe her. After all I had that one dream about her and that could occur now…
Then I fell asleep.

“CLASS! I NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS CONVERSATION! THEIR HAVE BEEN REPORTS THAT SOME OF YOU ARE BEING BULLIES! I WILL NOT METION THE KIDS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED! THE KIDS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED ARE…
AVA ZAFRINA!” shrieked the teacher.
Ava stood up in large protest, “Me?” she asked, “I have been reported? BY WHOM?” she demanded.
Everyone’s eyes shot around the room, Amara was pretending to look around the room as well, or at least I thought so.
“It was Rosalie!” accused Ava.
“What?!?!” I asked.
“YOU KNOW WHAT!” boomed Ava.
“Ava this just proves that you deserved to be reported!” interrupted the teacher.
Ava stuck her tongue out at me and sat down, Brian was grimacing.
The rest of the day went by very slowly, until I had one of the most vivid dreams.

“Kill her! Kill her!” they chanted.
I pounded on the giant glass jar I was in, crying in the process.
“KILL HER!” they screamed now.
I tried to find a rock to hide under, nothing. I looked around me in panic, what was I supposed to DO?
“No.” I whimpered, “Please!”
“Do you know what you did to us?” demanded one, “Well?”
“Yes but It wasn’t on purpose!” I answered.
She shook her head and looked back to the others, “What should we do?” she asked.
“Kill her!”
“KILL HER!”
“Turn her in to one of us.” Whispered one.
I raised my eyebrows and shook my head, why would they agree to that? What would I do for them? Do their laundry? Wash the clothes?
“NO!” A girl screamed from the other side of the room, diving towards me.
The girl shredded the glass and grabbed me, dashing towards my home as the others chased.

But little did I know I was still dreaming until...
"Rosalie!!!!! Rosalie!!!!!!!!” Someone yelled, I gladly opened my eyes. “Miss Biddings, what are you doing sleeping in my class? You know we have an exam tomorrow, would you like to fail?"
"No Sir"
My Biology teacher started to write a zero next to my name, participation in today's exam prep was worth 5% of our final mark
"Are you sure?"
"Yes sir"
The Biology teacher stared at me and then sighed, “Class dismissed.” He replied, pointing towards the door.
I nodded and walked out, as well as everyone else.
How could I miss it? An exam, (probably really hard!) on the third day of school? And besides that was an important dream, scary but it was the most vivid dream!!! My Biology teacher better give us an easy exam.
“Want to sit by me at lunch?” asked Ava.
“Sure.” I replied.
Lunch was weird that day, it was Hamburgers and Pizza. I was thinking about being a vegetarian but now I guess I shouldn’t.
I gladly excepted Pizza…
